After thinking about this for a while I can only conclude that I have no regrets. I’ll admit that I have done some inappropriate things over the years but I don’t regret them at all. Life is complicated and we make adjustments over time to satisfy our needs, it’s only natural and I’ll add it’s actually necessary.

 

Ignoring some of the things I thought were important about being a family provider and spending more quality time with my son. I don't think he was neglected, I just wish I could have been there for him a more often. Time passes so fast and they grow up so quickly.

 

There are many things in life I regret not doing. But, insofar as what may be particularly relevant on a porn site, it would have to be passing up many chances to have extramarital, nsf sex when I was in college in the late sixties right at the start of the sexual revolution, especially with a foxy black cheerleader with an awesome ass who was a friend of mine and came on to me. Long story short, I graduated a virgin and have never had the pleasure of tasting and tapping into black pussy or ass. Anybody got a time machine?

 

I wish I had had an intuitive insight into the lessons I have learned by analyzing my mistakes in life. It is better to learn from mistakes than it is to keep making them. Nevertheless, some opportunities only come once in life.

 

It's never too late! I know someone who starting learning guitar in his 50s, and now he's in a rock band.

 

There are several women way back in high school days (and I mean Nixon was in his first term in the White House then) whom I wish I'd asked to go out with me--one in particular whom I found out some 40+ years after the fact had something of a crush on me. Never know how one of those would-be dates might have progressed.

In a similar vein, as I've noted elsewhere on this site, I had the opportunity to have sex during my freshman year of college and passed it up because I was unprepared and didn't want to run any risk of getting her pregnant. Had I been more astute, I would have been prepared, and again, who knows...

 

I never made a serious move on a girl in high school. We both were always in a relationship at the wrong time and we both knew that we wanted each other. We met for lunch every couple of months till she moved out of the state and we lost touch. She is currently a chief trauma surgeon in the north west of the USA with no kids and no man.

 

Not taking over the universe, when I had the chance. Of course I can not speak about certain situations, but if it happens again, it's mine.

 

Mostly, not responding appropriately to nice ladies...Giving away my electric trains when I came home from the Army...Selling my 1931 Model A Ford for 50 bucks...Painting a German Army WWII helmet...

 

I regret not buying a new guitar tuner before my 80s Top 40 band went to Hawaii for a six-week gig - and I regret not telling my bass player that it had issues (you had to hit it, or it would tune a half step sharp).

What a fucking mess that turned out to be. But it showed me how un-seasoned the bass player and his girlfriend, the lead singer were. He froze and then she froze but the drummer kept on and the keyboard player and I traded solos.

It should have been easy for prfessionals to sort out quickly between songs, but it wasn't - because of that 'un-seasoned factor'.

 

I regret not trying harder to be more social during my school years, and less of a loner/awkward geek.

 

I regret not saying "yes" the first time Himself proposed. Fortunately, I came to my senses… eventually.

 

Not applying for the management opening at work oh so many years ago. Ended up ok, but I had to deal with an incompetent manager for 7 years before I told them goodbye and retired.

 

I regret more the things I did do, not the ones I didn’t do. Not sure which is worse lol
